CHRISTMAS FOR THE HOMELESS

2ND ANNUAL  CHRISTMAS FOR THE HOMELESS SYMBOLIC GIFT ADOPTION AND CHRISTMAS MEAL

Let’s put an end to poverty, hunger and homelessness!

Last year we asked our homeless friends to fill out a card with their name, pant, shirt and shoe size and something they would like for Christmas. The team collected the cards and offered them to our donors, supporters, volunteers and anyone that wanted to symbolically adopt a homeless friend for Christmas.  Every one who wanted to symbolically  adopt got a random card with all the information needed.

The gifts were wrapped and had the name of our homeless friend. That gift, was wrapped specifically for him/her, our homeless friend knew that someone went shopping for them, to buy them a gift, something that they asked for on that card.

This year, we will do the same thing and will like to invite you to participate! Sign up and pledge to symbolically adopt  a homeless friend this Christmas.

Cards will be provided to our homeless friends from November 1st until  November 19th. Cards will be assigned from November 19th to November 23rd.
